Hi! I’m Susan, the founder of Sunflower Strategies Organizing® and one of only nine Certified Professional Organizers in Houston. I was blessed to inherit my mother’s and grandmother’s organizing gene and even loved organizing as a child. It’s not just a skill to me, but a part of who I am. As an adult, I was always organizing events for the scouts, the schools and our church. In 2005, when I realized I could turn this passion into a career, I made the bold decision to leave my job, jumped in with both feet and never looked back. I immediately joined the Natl. Asso. of Productivity & Organizing Professionals, as well as, the Houston Chapter of same. I enjoy giving back in our industry and have served on the Chapter Board for 10 years in total.
I’m honored to share this gift with others and as a mom to three and a proud Nana to five, I understand the importance of creating a home that is functional, orderly and aesthetically pleasing. Our professional organizers feel the same and love giving 110% to each client and their home. Beside the visual happiness of an organized space (which just tickles us pink), we have the privilege of making people really happy on a very personal level.
On a personal note, when I’m not organizing, you’ll find me either with family or hanging around water. Whether it’s fishing, boating, swimming or just sitting on the beach, I love all things water…and it’s this love for creating calm, peaceful environments that I bring to every home.
